Welcome students and parents to our new classroom blog!!
This blog will be a place for students and their families to get on together (or separately) and connect to the classroom at home. There will be information and links here about authors of books we are reading in class, in addition to student book reviews, student's sample writing, discussion questions, and extra practice games. Student's can use this blog at home or when they have free time at the classroom computer. I encourage parents to log on with their child to see what we are talking about in class, and what they are working on. For now, just explore!! In class we will be discussing the proper way to communicate with each other on the "internet", use this blog as a place to practice communicating about the books we are reading and the questions posted.
Disclaimer: while I am not currently teaching, I am going to pretend that I am in a classroom for these posts to the blog. This will be used as an example to what I could do in a real classroom. Because my certification is aimed at elementary, the primary audience for my blog will be for second or third graders.
